Days of Heaven (Days of Heaven or Days of Glory) is an American drama and romance film released in 1978, written and directed by Terrence Malick and starring Richard Gere, Brooke Adams, Sam Shepard and Linda Manz.

The film, told in voice-over by Linda’s character, tells the story of a love triangle between Abby, a wealthy landowner whom she married, and her boyfriend, who encouraged her to get married in order to get his fortune.

With this film Malick deepens his style, at the same time that he completely distances himself from the commercial canons, which makes him one of the top representatives of American independent cinema.[citation needed]

In 2007, the film was deemed «culturally, historically and aesthetically significant» by the U.S. Library of Congress and selected for preservation in the National Film Registry.[3] In 1916, a young boy in 1916, a young boy in a small town in the United States was a young man in the mid-1970s.

🦁 made for each other

If there is one thing you can’t reproach Mario Casas for is that he is an actor who is 100% involved in his projects. Something that is appreciated by the directors he has worked with and that is why he has repeated with most of them, such as with Fernando González Molina, the director with whom he has worked the most times, a total of four («Fuga de cerebros 2», «A tres metros sobre el cielo», «Tengo ganas de ti» and «Palmeras en la nieve»). He has worked three times with Álex de la Iglesia («Mi gran noche», «El bar» and «Las brujas de Zugarramurdi») and twice with Paco Cabezas («Carne de neón» and «Adiós»).
